2.17

kṣapārambhe kṣībaṃ śiśukamiva nikṣipya śayane
jagāmānyaṃ tasminsurataghananidrāparamapi .
niśāśeṣe śūlākulanijasakhīveśmagamanā
padeśenānyaṃ sā satatamagamatsvakrayabhare ..17..

At the beginning of night, having tossed the drunken man onto the bed like an infant,
she went to another while he was lost in the deep sleep of exhaustion from lovemaking;
in the remainder of the night, on the pretext of visiting a friend racked with colic,
she constantly went to yet another in her burden of transactions.
