2.72

pānīyaṃ vinivāraṇīyamahitaṃ bhaktasya vārtaiva kā
dvitrāṇyeva dināni dhātridayayā dhātrīrasaḥ pīyatām .
jīvatveṣa śiśurbhajasva vividhairasyotsavaiḥ sampadaṃ
vaidyeneti nivedyamānamakarotsā sarvamevāśrutam ..72..

"Water is harmful and must be avoided; what need to speak of cooked rice? / Out of mercy as a nurse, drink only herbal decoctions for two or three days! / Let this child live, and enjoy wealth through his various festive celebrations!"— / everything thus enjoined by the physician, she simply ignored.
