dhanapradhānaṃ janajīvabhūtaṃ
lokeṣu tatrāpi viśeṣayogāta.
janābhisārapratipattibhājāṃ
mahībhujāṃ veśamṛgīdṛśāṃ ca ..80..

Wealth is paramount, the very breath of living beings
among folk, and there above all,
for kings, who receive the advances of their subjects,
and for deer-eyed courtesans.
