4.93

vittenābhijanī guṇī parijanī mānī pramāṇīkṛtaḥ
sadbhirjanturupaiti sādhupadavīṃ kiṃ vā bahu brūmahe .
vittena vratatīrthasārthasaraṇakleśābhiyogaṃ vinā
tīryante tatapātakavyatikarāste brahmahatyādayaḥ ..93..

Through wealth, a man of base birth becomes well-born, virtuous, surrounded by attendants, honored, and deemed authoritative
by the good, attaining the status of a gentleman—why say much more?
Through wealth, without the effort and misery of vows, holy bathing places, and journeying in caravans,
even those extensive sins and disturbances, such as the slaying of a Brahmin, are overcome.
