56

The fortunate man who, with sentiment drawn from afar, devotes himself to your praises, / for him perfections come into being whose delight is attained without delay. (56) / O Devī, whatever fortunate man, meritorious person, devotes himself to, offers hymns of praise to you, for that man perfections—wishes, or the powers such as lightness (aṇiman) and the rest—come into being, are accomplished. Perfections of what kind? Those in which delight is drawn from afar, that is, intensely obtained; meaning they are deeply desirable. And those which naturally accomplish crossing over far away, that is, beyond bad attachments. (56)
