"O Devī, by your majesty an ascetic attains such a beautiful inner radiant light, through which light, because delusion has been removed, he becomes equal to the radiant sun—that is, he attains [this status]. Thus, having repeatedly established the Devī's nature as sonic vibration (nāda), by this verse her nature as the primal point (bindu) is shown. For supreme light is expressed by the word 'bindu'. As is said: 'Know that radiance to be mine which, abiding in the sun, illumines the whole world, and which is in the moon and in fire.' And likewise the locus of light has been stated repeatedly in the Upaniṣads and Āgamas: 'Between both eyes, from the base of the bridge of the nose: one should know that heart as the great abode of the universe.'" You are the true path, white, boundless, the supreme knowledge for one desiring to cross over
from the transmigratory cycle; and, O Mother, you protect the living being from misfortune. (84)
