O Devī, Bestower of Boons, granter of the desired object! Those steadfast men, of undisturbed mind, by whom you, the goddess, are praised—lauded as a refuge—on earth, in the world, bring—cause to attain—your fame, renown, to the state of an ornament, a decoration, for the realm of the gods, the abode of the gods.
