"Are these tongues of Death darting forth in violent greed to swallow the three worlds all at once?
Or streams of Viṣṇupadī reddened by the radiance of Kṛṣṇa's lotus feet?
Or the three twilights arrived in person through the praises of the Enemy of Smara?"
Victorious are the streams of blood issuing from Mahiṣa when struck by the Goddess's trident, conjectured thus by the gods! (4)
