tasmāt teṣāṃ śatruvadhaḥ sukhaṃ yat tat samāpsyati |
jñātīnāṃ snehaśīlānāṃ tat tu vo na samāpsyati ||172||
Therefore, that joy of theirs consisting in the slaying of the enemy will come to an end;
but that joy of you, His kinsmen characterized by affection, will never end. ||172
