divasa-katipaye tadātiyāte2 paśupati-pālakatāpta-tādṛg-icchuḥ |
nija-ratha-tarasā nināya goṣṭhaṃ saha-jananī-kabalaṃ tam uddhavaṃ ca ||274||

When some days had passed, desiring to maintain His status as the son of the lord of the cowherds, / He swiftly drove that Uddhava back to the pasture on His own chariot, taking morsels [of food] prepared by His mother. ||274
