sadyaḥ phalanti karmāṇi devatve pretya mānuṣe
yāni karmāṇi devatve tāni santy eva mānuṣe |
tasmāt tvaṃ tapasaḥ putri pretyeha prāpsyase phalam //
Actions bear fruit immediately in divinity, [and] after death in humanity;
those actions done in divinity indeed exist in humanity;
therefore, daughter, you will reap here after death the fruit of your ascetic heat.'
