parāśarakulodbhūtaḥ śuko nāma mahātapāḥ
bhaviṣyati yuge tasmin mahāyogī dvijarṣabhaḥ
vyāsād araṇyāṃ saṃbhūto vidhūmo 'gnir iva jvalan //
Born in the lineage of Parāśara, Śuka by name, of great ascetic heat, / a great yogin, the best of the twice-born, will exist in that yuga, / produced from Vyāsa upon the fire-drill, blazing like a smokeless fire.
