sukālā nāma pitaro vasiṣṭhasya prajāpateḥ
niratā devalokeṣu jyotirbhāsiṣu bhārgava
sarvakāmasamṛddheṣu dvijās tān bhāvayanty uta //

The ancestors named Sukālas, [descendants] of the Prajāpati Vasiṣṭha, / devoted in the worlds of the gods shining with radiance, O Bhārgava, / replete with all desires—twice-born men revere them.
