ye tv athāṅgirasaḥ putrāḥ sādhyaiḥ saṃvardhitāḥ purā
upahūtāḥ smṛtās te vai pitaro bhāsvarā divi |
tān kṣatriyagaṇās tāta bhāvayanti phalārthinaḥ //
Those sons of Aṅgiras who were formerly reared by the Sādhyas / are called the Upahūtas, radiant ancestors in heaven; / the hosts of kṣatriyas, desiring fruits, revere them, my dear.
