108.1

vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca
tato dvāravatīmadhye prākārair upaśobhitam
tato dvāravatīmadhye kāmasya bhavanaṃ śubham |
tatsamīpe 'niruddhasya bhavanaṃ sā sma paśyati ||
sauvarṇavedikāstambhaṃ rukmavaidūryatoraṇam |
mālyadāmāvasaktaṃ ca pūrṇakumbhopaśobhitam ||
barhikaṇṭhānatagrīvaṃ prāsādair ekasaṃcayaiḥ |
maṇipravālasaṃstīrṇaṃ divyagandharvanāditam |
dadarśa bhavanaṃ yatra prādyumnir avasat sukham //

Vaiśaṃpāyana said: / Then, in the middle of Dvāravatī, adorned with ramparts, / in the middle of Dvāravatī, she saw the lovely mansion of Kāma; / nearby it she saw the mansion of Aniruddha, / with golden altars and pillars, and archways of gold and cat's-eye gems, / draped with garlands and wreaths, and adorned with full jars, / with peacock-throated sloping roofs and uniform clusters of mansions, / strewn with jewels and corals, resounding with heavenly Gandharvas; / she saw the mansion where Pradyumna's son dwelt in comfort.
