115.39

vyāsa uvāca
upāttayajño devebhyo brāhmaṇeṣu nivatsyati
vihito yajña eṣo 'tra devaiś ca brāhmaṇair api |
tejasābhyāhṛtaṃ tejas tejasyevāvatiṣṭhate //

Vyāsa said:
The sacrifice taken from the gods will abide among brahmins;
this sacrifice was ordained here by both gods and brahmins.
Splendor brought by splendor abides in splendor alone.
