bhogārtham abhipatsyante na ca kaścit paṭhiṣyati
ekaśaṅkhās tathā nāryo gavedhukapinaddhakāḥ //
They will take to [the Veda] for the sake of pleasure, and no one will study [in truth];
and women will wear a single conch-shell [bangle] and be adorned with wild coix seeds.
