ūcus te pitaraḥ kanyāṃ bhraṣṭaiśvaryāṃ vyatikramāt
bhraṣṭaiśvaryā svadoṣeṇa patasi tvaṃ śucismite //
Those ancestors said to the maiden who had fallen from her power through transgression:
'Deprived of your divine power through your own fault, you are falling, O you of pure smile!
