svatantras tv aṇuhāj jajñe brahmadatto mahāyaśāḥ
yathāsyāsīt pakṣibhāve saṃkalpaḥ pūrvacintitaḥ //
Independent and of great renown, Brahmadatta was born from Aṇuha, / just as his resolution had been previously conceived in the bird state.
