tāsu devā khagā gāvo nāgā ditijadānavāḥ
gandharvāpsarasaś caiva jajñire 'nyāś ca jātayaḥ //
In them the gods, birds, cows, serpents, sons of Diti, and Dānavas,
the gandharvas and apsarases, and other species were born.
