yuge yuge bhavanty ete sarve dakṣādayo nṛpa
punaś caiva nirudhyante vidvāṃs tatra na muhyati //
In every yuga these [beings], all of them beginning with Dakṣa, come to be, O king,
and again they pass away; the wise person is not bewildered by that.
