sa hi vedamayas tāta dharmātmā satyasaṃgaraḥ
yukto vājisahasreṇa siteneti hi naḥ śrutam //
For that [chariot] was made of the Vedas, dear child, righteous, of true promise, / yoked to a thousand white steeds, as we have heard.
