taṃ garbhaṃ daśadhā dṛṣṭvā daśa devyo dadhus tataḥ
sametya dhārayām āsur na ca tāḥ tam aśaknuvan //
Seeing that embryo in ten parts, the ten goddesses then received it; / having united, they held it, but they were not able [to keep it].
