22.2

kakutsthakanyāṃ gāṃ nāma na lebhe sa yatis tadā
rājyaṃ naicchad yatiḥ pitrā dattaṃ tatpariṇāmavit |
yatra praviṣṭaḥ puruṣa ātmānaṃ nāvabudhyate |
tenāsau mokṣam āsthāya brahmabhūto 'bhavan muniḥ //

At that time, Yati did not win the daughter of Kakutstha named Gā; / knowing the consequence of it, Yati did not desire the kingship given by his father, / entering which a man loses awareness of his self. / Resorting to liberation on that account, the silent sage became one with brahman.
