evaṃ tad dānavaṃ sainyaṃ sarvaṃ yuddhamadotkaṭam
devān abhimukhaṃ tasthau meghānīkam ivoddhatam //
Thus that entire Dānava army, furious with the intoxication of battle,
stood facing the gods, like a towering mass of clouds.
