vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca
śrutas te daityasainyasya vistaras tāta vigrahe
surāṇāṃ sarvasainyasya vistaraṃ vaiṣṇavaṃ śṛṇu //
Vaiśaṃpāyana said:
You have heard in detail of the Daitya army in the conflict, dear one;
now hear the vast assembly of the entire army of the gods belonging to Viṣṇu.
