dvijānāṃ vṛttayas tisro ye gṛhāśramavāsinaḥ
asmākaṃ tu vanaṃ vṛttir vanyāśramanivāsinām //

There are three modes of livelihood for twice-born men who dwell in the householder stage of life; / but our livelihood is the forest, for we dwell in the forest hermitage.
