nāsti yogaṃ vinā siddhir nāsti siddhiṃ vinā yaśaḥ
nāsti loke yaśomūlaṃ brahmacaryāt paraṃ tapaḥ //
Without yoga there is no success; without success there is no fame; / there is no ascetic heat in the world higher than chaste studentship, which is the root of fame.
