tasmiṃs tu vyutthite daitye nirvīyaiṣā na saṃśayaḥ
śāpo hy asyāḥ purā dattaḥ sṛṣṭā yenaiva tejasā //
"Now that this Daitya has risen [in rebellion], she is powerless, without a doubt; / for a curse was laid upon her long ago by the very fiery energy that created her."
