so 'gniṃ devamukhe dṛṣṭvā cakārātmamukheśayam
vāyuṃ ca tarasā jitvā cakārātmavaśānugam //
Seeing fire residing in the mouth of the gods, he made it dwell in his own mouth; / and having conquered the wind by force, he made it subject to his own will.
