nāsti kiṃcid bhayaṃ viṣṇo surāṇām asurāntaka
yeṣāṃ bhavān abhayadaḥ karṇadhāro raṇe raṇe //
"There is no fear at all, O Viṣṇu, for the gods, O slayer of Asuras, / to whom you grant fearlessness, being their helmsman in battle after battle.
