pāde tāṃ gṛhya puruṣaḥ samāvidhyāvadhūya ca
udyacchann eva sahasā śilāyāṃ samapothayat
sāvadhūtā śilāpṛṣṭhe 'niṣpiṣṭā divam utpatat //
Seizing her by the foot, that man swung her round and shook her, / and raising her up, violently dashed her against a rock; / thrown down upon the surface of the rock, unbroken, she sprang up into the sky.
