vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca
gate śakre tataḥ kṛṣṇaḥ pūjyamāno vrajaukasaiḥ
govardhanadharaḥ śrīmān viveśa vrajam eva ha //
Vaiśaṃpāyana said: / When Śakra had gone, the glorious Kṛṣṇa, the uplifter of Govardhana, / honoured by the dwellers of the cowpen, entered the cowpen itself.
