uttarasyāṃ diśi tathā rājan saptarṣayaḥ sthitāḥ
yāmā nāma tathā devā āsan svāyaṃbhuve 'ntare //
These seven seers abide in the northern quarter, O king; / and the gods named Yāmas were in the Svāyambhuva interval.
