bhoḥ kaṃsadhanuṣāṃ pāla śrūyatām āvayor vacaḥ
katarat tad dhanuḥ saumya maho 'yaṃ yasya vartate
āyāgabhūtaṃ kaṃsasya darśayasva yadīcchasi //
'Ho, guardian of Kaṃsa's bows, listen to the words of us two! / Which is that bow, gentle one, whose festival this is, / which has become the offering of Kaṃsa? Show it if you please.'
