bāṇair bāṇāṃś ca ciccheda teṣāṃ yudhi janārdanaḥ
jaghāna caiṣāṃ saṃrabdho yatamānāṃś ca tāñ śarān //
Janārdana cut down their arrows with his own arrows in battle; / enraged, he struck down their arrows as they strove.
