sa tasyāṃ janayām āsa devagarbhopamaṃ sutam
aniruddham iti khyātaṃ karmaṇāpratimaṃ bhuvi
dhanurvede ca vede ca nītiśāstre ca pāragam //
Upon her he fathered a son resembling the offspring of a god, / renowned as Aniruddha, peerless on earth in deed, / well-versed in the science of archery, the Veda, and the science of statecraft.
