śarmiṣṭhovāca |
yena kenacidārtānāṃ jñātīnāṃ sukhamāvahet |
atastvāmanuyāsyāmi yatra dāsyati te pitā || 22 ||
"Sarmishtha answered, 'One must by all means contribute to the happiness of one's afflicted relatives. Therefore shall I follow thee wherever thy father may give thee away.'
