Bhīmasena:
Your Majesty, Ajātaśatru, elder brother to Bhīma and Arjuna, whence should that damned Duryodhana be alive today? For of that wretch who insulted the lineage of Pāṇḍu:
His body is hurled to the ground, this [blood of his] applied like sandalwood paste to my own limbs; / Fortune has settled upon your noble self, along with the earth bordered by the waters of the four oceans; / his servants, friends, warriors, the entire lineage of the Kurus have been burned in this fire of battle; / that single name which you utter, O ruler of the earth, is all that now remains of the son of Dhṛtarāṣṭra!
