Stage director:
Indeed, taking recourse to this very autumn season, whose vault of heaven and quarters are made white by moonlight, stars, krauñca cranes, flocks of geese, saptacchada trees, night-blooming lotuses, day-blooming lotuses, and the pollen of kāśa flowers, whose reservoirs hold sweet water, let the musical performance commence! For in this autumn:
Having fine wings, uttering sweet cries, adorning the directions, and haughty in their rapturous onset,
the wild geese fall to the surface of the earth under the sway of the season. // 1.6
