6.20

āḥ durātmanvṛthāmaṅgalapāṭhaka śailūṣāpasada /

lākṣāgṛhānalaviṣānnasabhāpraveśaiḥ $ prāṇeṣu vittanicayeṣu ca naḥ prahṛtya &
ākṛṣṭapāṇḍavavadhūparidhānakeśāḥ ē̃ svasthā bhavanti mayi jīvati dhārtarāṣṭrāḥ // 1.8 //

Ah! Base scoundrel, reciter of false benedictions, wretched actor!

Striking at our lives and stores of wealth / by means of the fire of the lac house, poisoned food, and entry into the assembly hall, / and having dragged the garments and hair of the daughter-in-law of the Pāṇḍavas, / can the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra rest at peace while I am alive? // 1.8
