śrīmāneṣa na kevalaṃ dvijavaro yasmātprabhāvo mahā-
nākarṇya svaramasya dhīraninadaṃ citrārpitāṅgā iva |
utkarṇastibhitāñcitākṣavalitagrīvārpitāgrānanā-
stiṣṭhantyasvavaśāṃgayaṣṭi sahasā yānto mamaite hayāḥ || 15 ||

This illustrious one is not merely the best of the twice-born, for his power is immense;
hearing the deep roar of his voice, as if fixed in a painting,
with ears pricked up, motionless eyes, and necks turned so that their muzzles point forward,
these horses of mine, suddenly going [forward], stand with their bodies beyond control. || 15
