Karṇa's Burden 21: karṇaḥ

21

aṅgaiḥ sahaiva janitaṃ mama deharakṣā
devāsurairapi na bhedyamidaṃ sahāstraiḥ |
deyaṃ tathāpi kavacaṃ saha kuṇḍalābhyāṃ
prītyā mayā bhagavate rucitaṃ yadi syāt || 21 ||

Born together with my limbs, the protector of my body,
not to be pierced even by gods or asuras with their divine weapons;
yet this armour, along with the earrings,
shall be gladly given by me to the holy sir, if it pleases you. || 21
