vidyullatākapilatuṅgajaṭākalāpa-
mudyatprabhāvalayinaṃ paraśuṃ dadhānam |
kṣatrāntakaṃ munivaraṃ bhṛguvaṃśaketuṃ
gatvā praṇamya nikaṭe nibhṛtaḥ sthito'smi || 9 ||

Having a mass of high matted locks tawny as flashes of lightning, / bearing an axe surrounded by an orb of rising splendour, / the slayer of warriors, best of sages, banner of the race of Bhṛgu— / having gone and bowed to him, I stood quietly nearby. || 9
