‘cāṇakyanāmnā tenātha śakaṭāragṛhe rahaḥ.
kṛtyāṃ vidhāya saptāhātsaputro nihato nṛpaḥ ..

“Then, in the house of Śakaṭāra, secretly performing a malevolent rite
under the name of Cāṇakya, the king was killed along with his sons within seven days.”
