7.30

udeti pūrvaṃ kusumaṃ tataḥ phalaṃ ghanodayaḥ prāk+tadanantaraṃ payaḥ /
nimittanaimittikayor ayaṃ kramas tava prasādasya puras tu saṃpadaḥ //
mātaliḥ evaṃ vidhātāraḥ prasīdanti /

The flower comes first, and then the fruit;
The clouds appear before the rain;
Effect comes after cause; but you
First helped, then made your favour plain.
