Wandering ascetic nun: Everything is blameless according to the treatises. How so?
The meaning was fully indicated by the limbs in which the words were embedded;
the placement of the feet followed the rhythm; there was absorption in the aesthetic moods;
the branch-miming was gentle in following the variations of that [mood];
and emotion expelled emotion from its sphere, yet the thread of passion remained the very same. (9)
