Then Bhoja's mother named Sāvitrī, standing like the Mother of the Universe, heard from the mouth of a maidservant the plight of her son, covered her eyes with both hands, and said weeping: 'O son, to what a state have you been brought by your uncle! The observances and fasts that I undertook for your sake have all come to naught today. Even all ten quarters of the sky are empty. O son, all fortunes have been wiped away by God, who is omniscient and all-powerful! O son, look at this group of maidservants whose heads have been severed suddenly!' Having said this, she fell to the ground.
