Then the first poet, seeing the six eminent poets standing before him, said, 'O poets, when the king, who dwells on the causeway bank of this great lake, goes to his palace, say something.' And all those great poets stood there, having understood the king's entire initial demeanor. One of them said to the king under the guise of an address to a lake: / 'That lake is excellent along whose path there is no collision / between the empty jars arriving and the filled ones departing.' // 72
