In the beginning, in the kingdom of Dhārā, a king named Sindhula protected the subjects for a long time. In his old age, a son was born, named Bhoja. When he was five years old, the father, knowing his own old age, summoned the chief ministers, and seeing his younger brother Muñja to be exceedingly powerful and his son to be a child, deliberated:
